Bought to use 5 x 1.2V rechargeable cells to make 6V (rather than 4 x 1.5V cells). From the photo I wondered how the connector tabs could be next to each other if they were connected in series, the answer is that there is a recessed wire running across the back of the pack to connect the end cell.
