I've only had this blow dryer for about 1.5 weeks now Overall I find the Quality very good and the settings and speeds excellent. The delivery was fast and very good It has a very long 3 meter cable and is quite bulky but no reason why it wouldn't fit in a suitcase. The review's which say this is very heavy machine are in some ways right however for a salon Quality hair dryer will always be the case. The only cons I find so far is the cable tends to tangle and the back filter is a little flimsy and due to every day use I like to clean mine weekly so I will see how long it lasts.

I find it very heavy to hold for any length of time and the speed switches are set high on the handle where your thumb holds the grip and I keep knocking the switch off. Having said that - it is very robust with a long lead but how I would have liked to have replaced my old Babyliss 2000 for the same model. It lasted 11 years and was half the weight.

The `Babyliss Speed pro 2200W` is a powerful dryer in terms of the heat level, and also the robust motor. It has an automatic cut out to prevent burning it out. The cut out will switch the power off if you prevent the air flow through the intake, or if the dust filter becomes clogged up. Simply use something like a clean paint brush or similar to brush dust from the filter. I should dispel any concerns about the weight of this item, as mentioned by some reviewers. I have weighed the dryer and it is only 590g, so about half a kilo. It also has a decent length of cable at 3 meters long. I bought my first one in 2017, and I use it multiple times during the day for warming my slipper/shoes on cold days. I have recently purchased another as I did not want to be without one in the event of any issues, which is unlikely.
