I've had my previous Philips clipper for almost 12 years. I though it was about the time to change it so purchased this one. I have used it a couple of times since purchase and it seems to be as good (or actually better) than the previous one. The number of lengths you can select on it (60 as far as I remember) is way too much for what I need but it's nice to have a selection. On top of that it's lighter than my previous one and the battery lasts longer. Few other things I really like is the charging time (1h) and auto-locking length adjustment when operating so no more accidental length change while cutting.
