Good: Works well, compact and cheap. Good for top-up charge. Hard to get a 48V charger unless you go to larger sizes which are MUCH more expensive. In my use, I top up an off-grid 120Ah battery pack and it does this well, if slowly. Bad: some noise from internal fan, though this is a feature as at least the charger does not overheat. Output voltage is fixed at 60V which is right at the top for LFP batteries, I would have preferred 58 - 59V as the cutoff voltage. However, in use the charger does not go over 60V (switches off at this point) so it should be safe enough with LFP batteries. Conclusion: Excellent value if you need a (nominal) 48V charger for LFP batteries, and have either smaller batteries (10 - 30 Ah), or as in my case, only want top-up where a cloudy day impacted daytime PV charging.Read full review
