I bought this as a back-up for when our outdoor aerial is damaged by storms. It gets most but not all of the channels that the outdoor aerial gets but it is not very strong & the signal is lost if you move the cable. It only works in the "sweet spot" so you have to spend some time finding that but it is designed with magnets & peel off sticky so you can easily fix it in the sweet spot when you find it.

Our house aerial is broken so I got this one for the time being. It is stuck on the window but only has half of the channels we used to have with the house aerial. Only basic channals and no freeview. Signals are OK if not a windy rainy day.

I now have one of these hooked upto every tv in my house. For some reason on a roof Ariel without sky, you don't get many channels around here. Even though I've had a few people out to try and sort the issue none have been successful. Have even had 3 other ariels fitted! Its just fact that many people around here do not get many channels without sky & the signal is also quite unreliable. Yet for some reason this little gem picks up far more channels and has a far better signal and for such a good price. People are amazed when I tell them I'm using such a little portable Ariel because it works so well.

This is far better than any Ariel I have ever owned including the roof Ariel. Picks up channels where other Arial have failed , and it’s under £6 delivered. I have bought another three they were that good, Caravan , conservatory , bedroom and a spare. Sound impossible that something so cheap and simple can receive better signal than previous purchased arial at £60+. Don’t believe me try it

I plugged the aerial in to test it and it worked fine with both my TV and the USB DVB-T kit on my laptop. It worked much better than the little vertical rod type antenna which was supplied with the USB DVB-T tuner . However, I must point out that I live within three miles of the local TV transmitter and can see the mast from my loft. I haven't tried using the aerial yet in a more remote location. It was, as you might expect, somewhat directionally sensitive as is are most TV antennae. . I did like the suction cup/magnetic mount for temporary fixing as an alternative to the more permanent self adhesive fixing. All in all, a neat bit of kit.
