I've had my Nikon L11 for a couple of weeks now and i am happy to report that it seems to be a great little camera. Its pretty basic in what it does and how it does it but would be great for beginners and anyone like me who wants a small point-and-shoot to take snaps with. Its size is one of this camera's best features, its small and a great shape - fits easily into any pocket but still has a suitably large screen and good size buttons. The picture quality is suitable for its price range. The only thing i would be wary about is the battery life and type of battery the camera takes. It will only take (AA size) LR6 Alkaline batteries (non-rechargeables) or FR6 Lithium batteries (havn't tried these) or special Nikon Coolpix NiMH (rechargable batteries specially made by Nikon). I tried using the normal Alkaline batteries but these lasted a very very short time which i felt was unacceptable especially as they are non-rechargeable. i tried to use NiMH recharables but the camera won't work with these so in the end i brought the Coolpix NiMHs from Nikon and these are much better, last much longer and are easy and quick to recharge with the special charger you buy with them.Read full review
