Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Pedals
This is my first double bass drum pedal but I have used two single pedals in the distant past. I chose this pedal as it was a reasonably priced branded pedal. There are cheaper unbranded or no-name dual kick pedals available that have mixed reviews. I think it's worth buying a reputable brand to ensure you get good quality. The pedal has plenty of options to adjust various settings and I would recommend taking the time to play around with these to find the settings that work best for you. I have been using this now for a few weeks and have found it to be very good. It is sturdy and responsive. The beaters do not slip in use - all fittings are secure and hold in place despite the pounding I give the pedal. This is an entry level Mapex pedal and is ideal for a first dual kick pedal. It feels solid and well made and is capable of withstanding the high speed abuse that a double bass pedal is likely to receive - you don't buy one of these to play slowly and gently! In summary, for the price this is a great piece of kit - sure you could buy cheaper (and much more expensive) pedals but this is a good price for a great pedal and I'm glad that I bought it.Read full review

Second pedal collapses when being used and beater heads slide down. It cannot be fixed as it's a design flaw. I would not recommend for the price tag. Waste of money.

Ignore the 2 star review. He clearly hadn’t set it up correctly, or tightened it properly. This is an excellent beginner double kick pedal. It’s sturdy and smooth, and is very affordable. It’s simple to set up and adjust to your liking. Mine has served me well.
