I like very much the design of the radio, but my particular set has two faults. Firstly, when switching on DAB to talk radio, in my case Radio 4, the speech was badly distorted and could only be rectified by tuning to another station and then returning to Radio 4. I purchased a set of batteries as an alternative to using mains but the batteries appear to have lost power in just four days, even though the radio was mainly on stand-by.

It really does its job. However there is a lot of interference with DAB with computers. Possibly might work nicely with others. The alarm works nicely as well. However the headphone jack is a bit buzzy and has a lot of not nice sounding sounds so don't get this if you intend to plug it in to headphones. Pleased with it :)

It is able to pick up the DAB stations I listen to most frequently. It was much smaller than I anticipated. The sound is very thin lacking in real mid/bass depth. I would probably have paid more to get a better sound. It is now a back up DAB radio that I connect to and old amp and provides DAB radio in a room that is infrequently used.
