Was looking for a battery for my Galaxy S5, saw that this has good reviews and good feedback. But as I was using it, I slowly realised that it's a sham. The battery charges very fast, but loses charge quicker than an original battery. I realise it's a Chinese knock-off of the original Samsung S5 battery, but that doesn't mean I can't be brutally honest with a terrible product. This thing loses 30% charge in the span of 30 minutes. It lasts a maximum of 3-5 hours, where as my previous Samsung battery (used to) last up to 8-10 hours. I'm not confident in this battery's quality and surely do not find it reliable enough to use it for work. I recommend everyone else to purchase some sort of off-brand version of the same battery, ANKER used to make wonderful ones that are unfortunately not sold anymore. But something along those lines would not have to make much effort to beat this battery. In case anyone thinks this is a genuine Samsung battery I have two photos attached showing the front and backs of the batteries. The original Samsung battery (Left) which is the one I'm trying to replace, and the new battery I received (Right). You can see the left one is made in Vietnam while the right one is made in China, I guess it was stupid of me to expect anything better.Read full review

It fit the phone fine but I'm not sure if it's a genuine Samsung battery when compared with the one I removed from the phone. So far so good, it holds charge and does not overheat so, I would probably buy it again.

I bought a new battery for my phone because the old one does not hold it's charge for more than a few hours. Unfortunately the new one is even worse. I have obviously been sold a 'copy' according to friends that know better than I. It has all the same stuff on the outside and appears to be an original Samsung. Service was fine, it arrived the next day. It just doesn't last anywhere as long as my old battery did when it was new. It was very cheap, so I guess I got what I paid for!

After 4 hours use from fully charged the battery is flat. Compared with the orriginal battery that came with the phone this battery falls very short in quality.
