It s a very old hdd but good name good quality and it is working well.I bought for my old pc .I could buy bigger but I m using this one every day if going wrong I will say "buy" it was cheap no problem and max 40 GB data in (used to I had 250GB hdd and it went wrong I lost many things)
The hard drive worked perfect with no problems, although it was a used one you coulden`t tell & still working perfect to this day
It was bought for its printed circuit board, to replace one on my main frame, which had failed. Although it worked, there were other problems which I couldent resolve; but it was worth a try ! dj
I bought this for a computer of pretty low spec so I only wanted to get a 40gb hard drive. For less than a tenner this is very good value and installs with no fuss. As with all hard drives it loses a small part of its capacity once formatted (making it closer to 38GB) so this should be expected.
I got this IDE drive for back up use on my old system. Western Digital has never failed me so far! The western digital hard drive was one of the cheapest available and has reasonable performance for an IDE
