There are lots of varieties of Philips electric shavers with all kinds of sexy features, but none of them beat this for smoothness and battery life. I've had it three weeks using it heavily every day, and I've only just yesterday had to recharge the battery.

i AM SORRY TO SAY THIS PRODUCT FALLS FAR SHORT OF MY EXPECTATIONS. iF YOU WERE ONLY GOING TO NEED IT FOR SAY A MONTH THEN IT WOULD BE ACCEPTABLE BUT ANYTIME LONGER THEN IT REALLY STRUGGLES TO GIVE A CLOSE CLEAN SHAVE, IT WAS REFURBISHED AND NOT NEW SO MAYBE THAT IS WHY. i HASTEN TO ADD i DO NOT HAVE THICK FACIAL HAIR SO i WOULD HAVE EXPECTED THE SHAVER TO DO A BETTER JOB THAN IT DOES. I FEEL i NEED TO REPLACE IT ALREADY.

This is my third Philips shaver. The previous two have done well and given good service, but finally gave up the ghost. I generally go for the cheap end of the range rather than the fancy end, and I was hoping for another two-cutter shaver but couldn't find one, so I ended up with this. It gives a good shave, can be used cordless or plugged in. It has a built-in, internal battery, rather than ones you can replace, but this isn't a problem. I like the rinse-clean feature, where you can flip up the top and run water through the cutters to clean them: good idea. I hadn't realized before I bought it that it doesn't have a flip-up trimmer, which many models do. I do miss that a bit, but I can live without it: if it's a deal-breaker for you, don't buy this model. Overall a good, basic shaver.
The Product is ok, for the £30 I paid. I will be comparing it to the 'Philishave Coolskin' as the only other three headed electric shaver used. It's not as good as the philishave coolskin used for 7yrs. Good Points up to 2months of use so far= Light, Robust, rechargeable, portable, grip design great. Bad points=Not as good as the philishave coolskin though looks like the same head system. If you can afford a coolskin new or latest model to it get it be worth the investment. This will be ok till it works no more as it takes longer to get a close shave compared to the philishave coolskin.
I've owned 3 of these over the years. I can't fault them. They always give a close shave without irritation to the skin. Bizarrely, the motor always sounds like it's running at half speed, but don't be put off by that, it always gives a smooth close shave. I use it every day and the blades last two years. The shaver itself is so cheap to buy, forget buying replacement blades, just go out and buy the same model shaver again, there's very little difference price wise. Recommended. Kevin Savage
