Excellent Value, Once You've Built Them!
Once built, these trestles are excellent value and with a reassuringly sturdy feel. They are, however, quite fiddly and time-consuming to put together especially since you'll probably be buying two. Pay close attention to the inventory of screws, washers and brackets. I found it all too easy to use the wrong sized washers, i.e. a tad too large for the task in hand. This isn't that obvious and there are two sorts and they are VERY similar. Having made this mistake using the slightly larger washers first, I had to back-track undoing quite a few screws just to free up the washers for the larger screws that hadn't yet been used. Fortunately, I'd elected to make them one at a time so didn't make this mistake on the second one.Once built, these trestles are excellent value and with a reassuringly sturdy feel. Not worth it
Only purchased these as I was short on time and thought this would be convenient purchase, big mistake. Poor materials and build quality and the instructions are grainy and almost impossible to read and that comes from a tradesman! Better off buying this from B&Q you'll get them for similar money but the quality is there as well as assurances on their safety.

Lightweight and versatile
The word saw horse is not used correctly as a saw horse is lower so you can cut wood or metal at a lower height you are able to rest your foot on what ever you are cutting or working with..... a small matter..... I would say more of a bench and what a great strong portable bench you can make.... but very good quality and not knocking the product I would recommend these trestles to anyone in fact I have told colleagues about them already, they are easy to assemble and dismantle.
