We had a basic model which was really good, but hated the difficulty in cleaning it. We liked the product enough to want to upgrade. The fact you can just 'ping' the plates off to wash is a brilliant feature. This model is considerably larger than our previous one, and can't be stored vertically, but the removable plates make up for this. Have also used the 'melt' function which is an added bonus. Took a few times to get used to it taking longer to heat up, but have adjusted to turning it on earlier now. Also a considerably larger grilling area. Very pleased.

The grill is brilliant. It's great to cook on and t's so easy to clean - the non-stick coating and removable grill plates are soon cleaned by hot water and washing up liquid (I find it cleans better in the sink than in the dishwasher). The plates are easy to fit back into the machine as well and it warms up quickly.

Have used George Foreman grills for years and my family use it daily, from making toasties to grilling chicken. Love this new hot melt feature which has a small grill when you remove the top hotplate so you can cook pizza, cheese on toast etc , my son even fries eggs with it! the removable plates to clean easily is an excellent addition,,,The children don't mind cleaning it now.
