Good feeder. Seems reliable at the moment although we don’t have it pond side just yet. Bought it for extra feeds for our Tosai grow ons. The only issue is the feed size is too much when set to the lowest setting. Experimenting with pellet types and sizes. If you’re looking at this for your pond, perfect, if you’re looking at it for a grow on tank with only 5-7 small fish it would be overkill. Easy enough to program and operate. Love that it works on batteries.

    Well made with good features

    A quality product that is easy to use and has a good sized food container. The worm drive dispensing mechanism is well designed to dispense exactly the right amount of food without clogging. I used the unit recently after a 12 day holiday and it performed perfectly, after trying other products in the past, I have confidence in the Fish Mate P7000 to keep my fish well fed whilst I am away from home.

    Mmmm

    Although there is nothing in terms of quality of the produce re materials used, the machine does not work as smoothly as we anticipated. It delivers too much food to the fish. Bought it as we wanted to use it while we were away on hols but unable to due the quantity of food it administers. Far too much for a bog standard pond (mine is 8ft x 14ft) so now unable to use it. Manufacturer either needs to find a way for it to administer reduced amounts of food or make it clearer as to the amount it does administer.

    great idea

    Just what you need to look after the fish whilst on holiday. Setting up was not so easy. Three timer settings . I have not yet put it out to use outdoors but tested it indoors . It struggled to dispense flaked fish food but was good with pellets. I will be using good quality batteries but not sure how long they will continue to work for. Good large size container which hold a fair amount of fish food. well made and sturdy.

    Replacement feeder.

    I bought this to replace another manufactures pond feeder (which was useless) so I was very pleased, as it is very easy to set up and has been running for two weeks thru rain and sun and has worked perfectly. The helical screw ensures that the food does not get clogged up. Also setting and changing feeding times and quantity is easy. I can recommend this item but a longer time frame is needed to truly review.

    excellent product.

    i tried other cheaper models but its worth paying extra for this as it works. reliable and whilst not easy to program it does the job. the auger is a better system as it dispenses every time.
