I bought this item as I needed a simple navigation system and as I am a first time user I wanted a well known make that had been well tested I like this product because of its ease of use which is self explanatary also the voice can be changed as some can become monotinous. I would have liked this product to have a facility that I could charge from the mains supply in my house I have never had any other make.
This is very good for finding your way about and provides ample warning changes in direction that are needed (for street turnings and roundabouts). The only problem I had was the speaker. This stopped functioning a short while after the the purchase. I checked the forums on this GPS system and it appears that this often happens. On the upside is the fact that a new speaker only costs £5.00
i have had a few sat nav but being disabled find it hard to use them or figure them out but this tom tom v2 is excellent so easy to use and great display and directions i have used it so much since i got it cant live without it

This tomtom is very easy to use quick gps fix. less icon just postcode or city and street, and ready to go. I like this.
