I read a few reviews and was dubious about trying these. But after finding what hard work it was with a garden fork, and seeing the cost of hiring an aerator, I decided £8 on these was worth a punt. I was pleasantly surprised. Take the time to tighten the straps well and they stay on and are surprisingly easy and effective to use. I am size 8 and put them over my chunkiest boots and they were perfect. A genuine bargain and well worth trying!

These are promising as you fit them to your shoes and take your first pace. The straps, no matter how tightly secured will come loose and it is a waiting game for one or both to come off your feet. About 3 or 4 paces. Did not expect much from these and they still didn't live up to my low expectations. The spikes and the sandal are good quality let down by awful straps. I will secure with large cable ties then cut off when finished. I DO NOT recommend.

I answer yes to the three above questions, but with reservations. These sandals do the required job, but I found it difficult to keep them attached to my boots, the straps tend to come loose leading to them falling off frequently. However as they are only used once or twice a year???

The idea of the spiked shoes is really good. It's just a shame that someone hasn't upped the game and put some decent straps on them. Then you could possibly walk more than four steps without them coming off.

These seem good for the price, but I havent actually used them yet. I am female and take a size 5 shoe. If you take any sizes smaller, these will be too big for you. The length of the foot plate is 30cms, so don't worry if you take a very large size shoe. I would say these are aimed more at men than women. I will update this review if I fall head over heel when I carry out the airating.
