Well I have been a windows man since 3.1, so it's a long way back, but hate Windows 7, so tried an iMac at work, and although different, I liked it. Then went to the Apple store in Milton Keynes and you try before you buy. A very helpful shop and staff. So bought an iMac and loved it, so have now gone all mac with a Macbook Pro and iPhone. Major difference is build quality, and speed, I have upgraded memory from "Crucial" on both, and they are both so quick, and quiet, you struggle to hear if they are on, only one wire, very neat, very smart. Software, "Pages" windows equivalent is "Word", very expensive..."Pages" £14.99 and its a gem. Would I recommend MacBook Pro, yes I would, and I will never go back to windows !!
the item is vey good for photo editing , film editing and music editors with some compatible games wth its advance architecture it works great for productivity the track pad on macs don't feel the best but otherwise its all good you can always use any other blue tooth or usb mouse
Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned
Purchased the Mac as it was described as including Adobe and Microsoft software It arrived loose in Mac box but undamaged but without the extra programmes
sympa a utiliser, tres bien pour la bureautique, pas mauvais pour les jeux. il est plutot leger et mobile et la maintenance est aisée.
I bought the MacBook for business and personal use. I went fir a 2nd hand refurbished Mac as I had never used one be before so did not want to commit to a full priced new one. After using a pc almost since inception I am a total convert to Apple. Sure, there lots of little things to get used to, particularly the different commands and keyboard but these are minor and soon start to become familiar. Setting aside the general appearance and style (I'm not a fashionista!) the Mac is simply pleasurable and easy to use. If you are already familiar with the iPhone or iPad the Lion OS is simple to get to grips with. There is no shortage of help online for when you get stuck, either directly from the Apple website or from the many other online forums. I am also very impressed by the ease with which the Mac picks up connections to my ancillary equipment such as printers. All in all I am very satisfied indeed and for thes of you out there who are till wondering, don't be afraid! Take the plunge, you will soon get used to your new Mac and wonder how you persevered with a pc for so long.Read full review
