Pleased how quiet it is compared to my old one. The point of entry for the electrical cable is at the bottom of the unit, only. This was purchased to replace my old unit, where the point of entry was at the top. To solve it, i turned the unit upside down. The fan works fine, but the xpelair logo is now upside down, i can live with that. Why dont manufacturers design either a unified point of entry, or have multi points of entry.

Cheap and nasty... unless you take great care in mounting it. Don't waste your money with this product. The body is flexible and too thin and if not fixed perfectly the fan catches the body and rattles. Same build quality as a fairground toy. Managed to stop it rattling by mounting on double sided foam, screwing down was never going to work...

This is a small, yet powerful fan which, due to the high Wattage need must be wired directly to the mains ring and can not be powered via a 3 Pin Plug. My understanding is that such work must now be undertaken by a Professional, Qualified Electrician.

Good value for money. The cable entry is a bit narrow for cable used on unit it replaced. with dedicated entry direction the unit had to be mounted upside down. Pity the manufacturers logo was printed on rather than a sticky label that could have been put on in correct orientation. Wish I could work out why the fan normally runs quietly occasionally rattles as if there is something in the blades!

the only issue with fitting is that the instruction leaflet doesn't make it clear which is the switched live terminal for the timer. once worked out it does exactly what I want.
