A top quality battery which is literally heavy duty when lifting it to fit into my car. £61.00 is good value for a top brand battery. Four year guarantee is also included which is a bonus.

Seams a really good quality battery. Fitted a couple of these now. One sat in a Yaris for 3 months without starting. Started on first turn of key. Handy carry handle built into the top. Also has removable terminal covers, to prevent shorting whilst messing about. Higher capacity than OEM battery it replaced, but same size. Fitted one recently in Skoda Yeti, which was a perfect fitment. Slotted right in, and all the retaining clips lined up the same as the old battery.

I've known Exide since 1965 and they date far before this in the thirties. Choice is simple, a proven brand or a Japanese brand you can't even pronounce at twice or three times the price.

Excellent battery - ideal for those who mainly do short journeys as it charges faster than normal car batteries. Normal lead acid batteries charge to 70% pretty quickly off the alternator, but the last 30% can take some time and if there aren't regular good runs it will never reach a full charge - which will kill lead acid batteries through sulfation. My last 2 batteries were dead after 3 years, and the last one was showing capacity issues after 2 years. This one is charging to full capacity much faster and hence should last a lot longer.
