Bought this so I could get more than normal briquettes burning rather than the Weber version which means lighting 2 times. Now in one hit I can heat up the right amount of coals to cook pulled pork for longer without having to top up after a few hours. Good quality and well worth the money :-)

This makes the difference, evenly lighting all the coals or briquettes. It saves time as well, getting you ready for the barbeque in perhaps half the time it would normally take. You can build a nice light-up fire and place this on top of that, if it fails, take it out and start again, no problem. When it gets going, it keeps the heat compact while getting plenty of air, doing a great job in lighting up the coals or briquettes.

Having always struggled to light my BBQ’s properly and evenly, I found this to be easy to use and works perfectly every time. Didn’t come with instructions, but a quick YouTube tutorial sorted that. Highly recommend 👏👏👏👏👌🏼👍🏻

Bigger than I expected, the cylinder is 7 1/2 inches diameter and the whole thing is 12 inches high. Seems to be good quality plated steel construction. I used one firelighter broken in half and it got the (lump) charcoal going well in just over 10 minutes. Amazing product and well worth the money.
