This is a great watch for the money. I purchased a black band for it only because the orange band that it comes with is a little flashy for me. I recommend getting a black band, you'll need a small allen type wrench to unscrew the original band off; easy enough to do by just getting the two screws out on each side.

This watch is not a made in Japan. I am deeply disappointed because it is only Japan movement. I thought it is a made in Japan. This is my fourth casio and for the $ it is in my opinion the best watches on the market. My original g shock is on it's third 10 year battery!!!!!! I purchased it in the early 90's and have used it for work and play, using it in water sports. My other two are solar watches with temperature and compass functions. Again for the price these watches can not be beat.
