Cable fractured at the laptop connector on original PSU, not neatly repairable so needed a new one. Tried a very cheep one but it was faulty so got a refund. This one was only a few pounds more and says it is an original HP so I thought I would give it a try. It works perfectly as far as I can tell and that is the main thing. It does not come with the mains lead, but I still have the one from the old unit so not a problem. It has the useful Velcro strap to tie up the leads which is handy, the cheep ones do not always have that. The label looks the same as the one on my old unit and it looks and feels HP, not thin and fragile. All in all, very happy with the charger.
