This is a very nice, no frills ebook reader. Slim design, only a power button and a menu button, other wise touchscreen controls and has adjustments for font size, line space, typeface, etc so you can customize it for your eyes. Good battery life, works nicely with Adobe Digital Editions. File types: epub, pdf (if well formatted) and there are many file conversion programs such as Epubor or Caliber for the computer that can convert kindle files (for example) into EPUB files and vice-versa. So literally any ebook can be used. What I'd change: make the touchscreen sensitivity more adjustable. A backlight would be nice but I won't think these are made any more...you'd have to upgrade to a newer device.

- Unfortunately, this e-reader recognizes only two e-book's formats: pdf and epub. But when you read books in pdf there are still some issues. If you fit page to display, then the font size is realy tiny. And if you flip to horizontal orientation + fit page to width ,then you have to go up and down within one page (it is a little bit annoying). So it makes only one format usable - epub, though it is very nice. + Price is lower that average price for e-readers, while quality is rather good. This e-reader is very slim and light, so even in a case it is convinient to hold the e-reader with one hand. There is a nice feature - you can divide books in categories (shelves)-rather helpfull. Easy to handle: intuitive navigation; to add books you just drop them down in the root folder. Nice sensor. Long living battery.Read full review
This is my very first e-reader, and I am extremely happy with it. The battery life is great! At the rate it is currently draining, it should easily last me a few weeks per charge. Make sure to turn the WiFi off though! Otherwise the battery will drain quite quickly. The touch screen quality isn't outstanding, but once you get used to the page swiping, it works perfectly. Far easier than turning the page of an actual book, in any case :p Overall, the touchscreen is sufficient. It has a dictionary function which is handy. You can choose between a small handful of fonts. Other than that it's light on features, which is fine. If all you want to do is read books, and don't want to spend a lot of money, this is perfect. I got a white one, and the back is lightly scuffed up. Everything else, including the screen is in excellent shape. The back is sort of a soft silicone/rubber-like texture, which I really enjoy. it feels nice to hold. It is now 2018, and I am sure the E-readers available today are much better, but like I said, this is my first E-reader and I am extremely happy with it. This cost me about $50 CAD, and I believe that is a very, very good deal.Read full review

There may be more up to date ereaders out there. It has no backlight and it's not HD, but, it stands up very well -especially for the price. The hardware is the same as the touch 2.0, it just comes in a slightly cheaper feeling case. The physical home button is very nice to have for the occasional crash rather than having to restart (as you would on the mini). The software is very good, pocket works really nicely syncing webpages across your phone or computer into an ereader friendly version. The internet explorer is usable plus there are a couple of games thrown in. It is possible (although probably warranty voiding) to swap out the internal memory card for a higher capacity one, if you clone the image of the card. I managed to swap mine to have 16gb internal memory, possibly a little excessive for just ebooks, but useful for backing up a few audiobooks. All in all, although it can be out spec'd you couldn't beat it for the price.Read full review

This ereader is great to take with you out and about, fits comfortably in your handbag and is lights compared to others in the market. The battery lasts just over a month and at times longer depending on how much you use it. It also conects easily in wifi areas giving you access to not only the brilliant kobo store but to the qeb browser too. Overall an excellent product with a great feel to it. I bought my sister one for christmas as she kept on taking mine!
