AT33PTG with Onkyo CP1050
I upgraded to this cartridge from an Ortofon 2M Blue moving magnet. After a couple of weeks of running in the detail is amazing. This moving coil cartridge plucks detail from the vinyl that I didn't know was present. I've switched back and forth between the Ortofon and the AT and the difference is clear. I now find it difficult to listen to the moving magnet cartridge because I've become used to the detail of the moving coil. It was a bit fiddly to set up. The stylus is tiny so I was paranoid about accidently ripping it off the cartridge body. It's sensitive to alignment so you need to spend time getting the stylus position and alignment spot on. I've now had it for 2 months and it works great, even on my budget Onkyo turntable that cost less than the cartridge.
