For the money this is an excellent phone, but you have to recognise that with such value come a few compromises: Pros: Fantastic price, slim annd lightweight, does the job of a phone very well with handsfree etc. Some nice little extras like radio and flashlight make this a very practical phone. Battery life is literally eternal. Cons: Lack of options - no camera (this didn't bother me, but would some), no bluetooth and a slightly cheap feel to the finish (although this doesn't mean the phone is not robust). My other slight niggle is that the phonebook is a lot less sophisticated than more modern models that allow email, addresses etc. to be stored. Overall a great realiable buy for little money.
This phone is a great little phone, it is a NO frills phone but as I bought it to have as an emergency, just in case, phone it does just what I want it to. The buttons on it are a bit fiddly and menu select button is particularly difficult for adult human sized fingers. It's size and and weight are about as small as you would want for a phone unless you are trying to smuggle it into a prison. The screen is bright and clear and it even has a few games to help you kill time if you are really stuck but they are not blockbusters.
This has proved to be the easy to use basic phone I wanted for my phone phobic husband. It's small and light to carry around but the buttons are not too small for clumsy big fingers or too hard to see for very short sighted persons. I didn't like the poor diagrams on the box of how to load the SIM card. The phone has a handy little training guide to using the phone to make calls and texts. It's an Orange SIM which I'm used to but it took forever to get security info back from Orange to register the SIM. Now the phone is proving very handy and husband has actually used it to make several calls so I think it was avery good buy.
This is a great little phone which is easy to use and very reliable. I am a bit of a technophobe and I very soon got used to using it. If you want a basic, no frills mobile that does what it's supposed to then this model is for you. It doesn't have 'Blue tooth,' mp3 player or a camera, but then I don't need them on my phone. I use it for telephoning and receiving calls and texting which it does efficiently. It has good storage for my numbers, replies and texts that I want to save. It does have a radio and a torch, both of which are handy to have. The battery life is excellent, the standby lasts me all week. It comes supplied with games which my kids like. It is slim and attractive and is light and the screen is a decent size. You can set up your own profiles which is good. The mobile was very reasonably priced and I can whole hearted recommend it is an essential bit of kit! Andrew Butterfield.Read full review
I bought this phone because it was cheap, I like Nokia, and I needed a basic, extra phone. The main problem was that I could not remove the back cover, and when I "Googled" this problem, many other people were frustrated by it. In the end my partner removed the cover with a penknife (a delicate operation!) and I inserted the SIM card and battery. As long as I don't have to take off the back cover again, all is well! Good basic phone, nice display wallpaper, etc. Would only recommend it if the person I was recommending it to was very patient and adept at removing back covers from mobile phones! Pity really, as otherwise it is a great little phone.
