I would not have paid anymore for this alarm clock. It's very lightweight and I'm not sure that it's going to last long. It looked solid and as if it was a serious contender to get someone out of bed who has hearing loss. I was won over by the idea that it was really loud but it's about the same as others. It was a gift and if I'd bought it for myself I would have returned it.

I was quite surprised at the size of the clock, I did not expect it to be so large, but to be honest I didn't take much notice of the advertised dimensions. It is rather ugly but does the job. It is loud and the noise of the alarm is horrible but it certainly wakes me up. Unfortunately, not in a gentle way but rather a jarring shocking way. You have the choice of having the volume of the alarm set low or high, which is useful. It keeps good time tool. Sorry to sound rather negative about this clock but at the end of the day it does the job of waking me up and the price was very reasonable, compared to those advertised in the brochures specifically for the "hard of hearing". Good value.

This is a budget clock, it's well made and its reasonably loud, it does wake my son when many others do not. Only issue is the 12h clock. This means he has to turn the alarm off to stop it going of at 7.00pm. He has to remember to turn it back on, which he seems to be incapable of doing!

The tick is not intrusive. The alarm is loud enough for me. It's very easy to use. It is big the body is plastic. I would recomend it.
