This isn't a camera with a lot of flash features nor even a viewing screen but it is unobtrusive (fits well, behind the rear view mirror), simple to use and the money's gone into the quality of the build and chip-set hence the excellent image quality. That it's limited in features, but has the ones that count, means you're less likely to be distracted by it in use - which is a good thing really! If you can afford to get one then you won't be disappointed and will be impressed by the performance. I fitted mine with the RoadHawk in-line fuse cable so it activates when the ignition comes on - easy enough to wire up using a YouTube guide.

This camera is a great silent witness to all the mayhem that happens around us on the roads. Licence plates are easily read, but due to reflective nature of licence plates there unseen in dark situations. I have found it makes me a safer driver due to knowing im being watched and also the speed of my vehicle is monitored. I have had a camera before but nothing like this quality and ease to view the issues that present themselves. Ok there is no display like I used to have but to be honest I don't miss it as I never really used it. Due to the field of view there is no positioning issues either, just fit and go. I do have a dash glare issue with the standard bracket because it mounts to far from the screen, the manual supplied told me this can happen but for the price of the kit I should not have to purchase one separately for a problem Roadhawk warn about.Read full review
