After a long time I needed a "new" computer I had always had PC's before but was too out of touch to know what was good and what wasn't without just buying a custom machine with all the most expensive components. I have always liked the look of Apple's range but have been put of by price and unfamiliarity, however a while ago I picked up an old iPod touch here and was hooked I now have a mk1 iPad. So I decided to look at the iMac's and saw this one for auction. The screen is amazing and the sound is more than I need, I am still getting familiar with the interface but it is much easier than I feared it would be. The main thing I dislike is common to almost all all-in-one machines all the ports are at the back and I find loading disks in at the side awkward at the moment but I am sure that will become easier with practice. The good thing about an all all-in-one machine is the small footprint and the significant reduction in cables all over the place. If you use an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch many of the icons and programs will be familiar PC users will find them a little strange at first as is the uncluttered look of the desktop. The next most striking contrast after its appearance to any PC I've owned is just how fast it bboots up and shuts down.Read full review
Actually it's worth the money. It's still actual. I will use it as a second comp. It's good for audio edditing. Well made as all the Apple products, upgradable (SSD, RAM). Runs the latest versions of OSX. Great display. Great design.
As my previous computer for graphic design it's worked fantastic till now, to be honest even better than new models. Fast, powerful, beautiful, great screen and the most important easy changeable screen glass.
