When deciding to replace this drive belt I looked at several suppliers and replace the brush as well .Then on purchasing the brush with two drive belts it was the wrong one as I was not aware that there is a clutch driven and a no clutch version of the DC14 . This ment I was short of the clutch drive belt and the brush was no good either . BEWARE . Anyway this belt was the correct one and I finally fitted this this being far from easy but my Dyson is now working again.

Our dyson DC27 was not picking up and the wife wanted a new vacuum cleaner. we already had an old DC04 in the cupboard with the same issue. The brush roller would spin fine when in the air but when engaged on carpet it would stop turning or spin really slowly. I watched a you tube video on how to disassemble and repair the dyson clutch. The original clutch belt from the clutch to motor was very loose in both vacuums causing the brush roller slippage. Now both vacuums are working like new with dyson branded belts. Many thanks you have saved me a fortune.

I've read about people having issues with non genuine Dyson replacements so I opted for the real deal. For quite some time my cleaner hadn't been picking up. I realised the band was slipping over the rollers. Now I've replaced it, it's as good as new. Thoroughly recommend this item.
