Everything is frozen but not hard. The 'quick freeze' is useful when frozen things from shops have begun to soften. I do think that a handle half way down the door would have been better but that is 'nit picking' (the advantage is that small children can't open it) it doesn't stop the freezer being excellent. The drawers are good as I can keep fish, meat, frozen veg., ice cream (or similar) separated, which is a must for me.

Arrived with a broken door front to one of the drawers which is almost impossible to remove without damaging the drawer itself. Co op electrical replaced the drawer front quickly and without problem providing an impressive service but it was a real pain to change. The new one clips in easily but the old one doesn't clip out . This theme continued as trying to changer the front door to hinge on the right was another completely painful experience. Instead of being a 5 minute job ( aided by a useless cartoon instruction book with a page and a half of cartoons showing door reversal for a different freezer) much time was wasted removing the insulating foam from the threaded holes for the right hand hinge mounts These holes are underneath the freezer to difficult to see and get to Overall impression is of a freezer built in a hurry down to a price and a shock after the common sense and quality of Bosch and Siemens products which would have had plastic blanking plugs in the threaded right hand mounting holes for the door hinges From this point the experience gets better as the unit worked faultlessly from power up and runs quietly touch wood so far without problem To help any future purchasers changing the door to right hand hinged operation if when you have finished cleaning out the mounting hole threads and eventually got the door hinges secured on the right hand side you find the door sits too high and jams on closing you have forgotten to reverse the annotation of the tiny metal plate with a raised lug that is located in the bottom hinge assemblyRead full review

Performs as expected & price is was good. But as with all these reviews asking about something that is brand new should result in a positive answer. The time to review any product is when it has been working (problem free) for some considerable time. My old Lec freezer was 30 years old & was still working when I replaced it with this Beko so if this one serves me as well as the Lec I will be happy (If I am still alive).

Well designed and well constructed for the price. Visible temperature control and fast freezing facility. Frost-free is a very useful feature. Had to give up trying to reverse the door as the hinge blanking plug could not be removed without damaging the unit. Instructions need updating for this model. Otherwise very pleased.

With any Beko product you always get more for your money. In this case the freezer is frost-free, a feature you have to pay a lot more for with other brands. The plastic flap closing the top shelf seems a little flimsy for the job, but so far so good. The exterior is totally plain except for the Beko logo, a plus feature in my opinion as it makes the appliance easy to wipe clean. There are none of those 'extras' which you neither need nor ever use. The freezer does its job with no fuss and the food is easy to access. I chose this particular freezer for it's reaosnable price and the fact that unlike many freezers, it can be kept in an outbuilding as it will function correctly at low ambient temperatures.
