    Very useful, but easily damaged by frost and sun.

    As a garden watering aid, it is excellent. You can vary the pressure without having to go back to the tap. You can lock the trigger in place so it doesn't make your hand ache. You can bend the pipe to make watering hanging baskets easy. However, this is the third one I have had to buy in three years. The plastic of the handle fails if exposed to too much sun or frost. I kept the second one in the shed all winter and used it in April this year. Unfortunately, I left it out and that night got down to minus 3°C and the next time I used it, the handle split. So now I make sure it is put away every time it is used, because the sun also seems to degrade it. Other than that, it is a useful tool for the garden.

    A great all-round facility

    The only shortcoming is a single rogue jet from the rose setting, which shoots out at right angles to the main spray pattern and always seems to hit me in the face when I am reaching high for hanging pots, which were the main reason I bought it. This device has nevertheless revolutionised an otherwise very awkward job of watering 50 pots hanging from a ceiling with little space to walk beneath them. It also enables the watering of my greenhouse with no danger of hitting light switches and electrical sockets by accident. It is also perfectly adequate for use on plants around the floor, being sensitive enough to deliver a light shower over fresh cuttings etc, while reaching the 4 metres or so that I often need to tend to the rest of my plants from one position in the greenhouse.

    My versatile friend

    What an excellent product . Apart from the many ways to use it to water the garden, when it is really hot I cool myself down using it as a shower. I have adapted a piece of wood and hooked it over the garden gate and can just attach my spray lance and enjoy a hands free shower whenever I feel like it. ,! ( photo attached ). Absolutely marvellous buy, worth every penny. I call it my flexible friend.

    Excellent garden product

    Bought as a replacement for previous one which has given good service for many years but now has a leak in the handle which could not be repaired. Ideal for watering hanging baskets. On- off switch, various spray patterns and 'volume' control very useful. Flexible hose good feature.

    Excellent :)

    A great bit of kit. Top quality product which makes watering so much easier than a conventional hose fitting. Instead of soaking the leaves and flowers you just angle the head to point underneath and soak the soil. Hanging baskets are a doddle to water with this too.
