This is one really great little device. Window cleaning is now so quick and easy that it is not a chore I put off doing anymore. A simple wash over of the window with just a cleaning cloth and water followed by a quick couple of strokes down the window with the vacuum and honestly, no streaks! No Mess and ideal for cleaning windows inside as well as outside . I use no chemicals , just water, so environmentally friendly as well as no cost once you have purchased the cleaner vacuum. The vacuum does need to be kept in the upright position whilst using otherwise once the water chamber starts filling you get a spluttering spray start. If you need to angle the vacuum sideways then just empty the water chamber before doing so. I am still experimenting to see what else I can use this vacuum for and will try it on cleaning the water off the car after washing. All in all, just love this vacuum and would highly recommend it.Read full review
I hate cleaning windows! This little gadjet has made my life much easier. I use a mix of vinegar water and wash up liquid ( given on the Karcher website) and I'm away. Just switch on and it vacuums the wetness away with a streak free finish. When I'm finished I just plug it in for a re-charge and it's ready for the next time. The only down-side is that you need a cloth to mop up the drips on the sills, as when you get to the bottom of the window the machine goes from vertical to nearly horizontal which moves the suction away from the window. It may help however if I turn the Karcher sideways at the bottom rather than using it top to bottom.
fed up with paying window cleaners for doing a poor job every month ,i thought i would buy the window wv50vac.well a bit pricey you may think not realy as it is a very good product .my windows now shine inside and out the shower room sparkles ,the barth room tiles have never looked so good.the kitchen work surfaces are now being cleaned with it as well i think the next step will buy the wife one.
What a brilliant product! Does everything that is claimed. Have previously used various things to get clean streakfree windows and this is by far quickest and easiest. There ARE little tricks you soon learn such as wiping window frames before vacuuming glass to prevent drips but very easy to use. Would recommend the purchasing of the small blade for smaller areas...well worth it.
I bought it to clean conservatoty windows. I'm very pleased with it. It works perfectly, and is very easy and convenient to use. A much easier method of window cleaning than with cloths ans window-cleaning spray. I also find it useful for removing condensation from windows with no mess.
