For a budget price exhaust you cant go wrong with the black widdow. The delivery was a day early, the goods were packed very well to ensure no damage in transit. The instructions are easy to follow as they guide you step by step with clear instructions and pictures to help and the exhausts themselves sound great. My expectations were no where near the outcome so im happy. Definately worth the purchase.

This thing sounds awesome, looks awesome and looks to be really nice quality. Arrived really quickly too. Comes with everything you need, sealant, gaskets and all the nuts and bolts as well as clear instructions. In typical man fashion I ignored these so had to go back a couple of steps to progress again but it fitted together really well and is now solid on the bike. Took about 3 hours, including removing the old exhaust. Anyone buying should probably get some new header nuts, as mine were corroded and I was lucky to get one off in particular without rounding it off completely. I went on the side of caution and renewed all 8 when fitting. Only ridden with the baffle in so far, but has made a massive difference to the sound and volume of the bike. I've not remapped it but it still runs really nicely and I enjoy the pop and burble when you're slowing down so I'm not changing it! Throttle response is a bit better and more instant. Drivers seem to notice me now more, especially when filtering so this has got to be a good thing. I can imagine it being fooking loud with the baffle out, but looking forward to giving it a try! Would recommend for the xj6 as the only aftermarket exhausts I could find for it were £800+, for less than half that money, it's definitely not half the quality.Read full review

The exhaust came with minimal instructions. After taking all the fairing off, you have good access to the oem exhaust. Most of it common sense, but I would keep your wits about you. Remember to take the old gaskets off the bike. They are there! Assemble the headers. I found it easier to not put the 2 into 1 pipe on until the header bolts were on. Then put it on, and nip up, hand tight. The springs will hold it in place. If you struggle, like I did, then ring black widow, and ask to speak to the tech team. I spoke to Lincoln, who was very helpful The sensor does not reach the new exhaust, after fitting. Nowhere, does it explain this. You have to take the side panel off (which is 1 Allen bolt and some velcro fixings) I then disconnected the sensor at the top, and put it in the exhaust and tried to find the shortest distance to reconnect it. I eventually found you have to take the other end off the bike completely, for the connectors to meet. Hoping it doesn't get damaged over time, not being where it should be. It's all on now with 200mm end can with carbon fibre top. Mot had chance to ride it yet, as the weather has been so bad. Cracked it up for a quick listen and it sounded alot better. And that's with the baffle still in! Should be after the loss of skin from my knuckles. Very frustrating that there aren't proper fitting instructions. Quite a big weight difference from the original. Mine is up in the loft now. Btw, take the original end can off first. There's a cover over it, which needs to come off first Hope that helps someone attacking this, for the first timeRead full review

Amazing exhaust system that has improved my bikes throttle response and power throughout the day rpm range. It sounds amazing with a nice throaty growl at idle with the baffle in. Im very impressed with this system and the price is great. I actually like this system more than the Yoshi that I had on it and in my opinion is better all around.

I had my xj6 for a few years with the stock exhaust and I lost interest on my bike. After fitting this aftermarket system I completely love my bike again it sounds great!! I feel more power and better performance. On motorway my bike is just hungry for more gears to go faster.
