Corgi Aviation AA39205 continues what is legendary about this legacy of 1/72 Scale Diecast Supermarine Spitfire models of all marks. This rendition is of Supermarine Spitfire Mk IIa P7308 (XR-D) as it served with 71 'Eagle' Squadron based at RAF North Weald in Essex during 1941. The Mk IIa it is worth bearing in mind had already served with distinction during the Battle of Britain the previous year alongside the Mk I and Hawker Hurricane Mk I. Whilst other types of aircraft such as the Bristol Blenheim and Fairey Battle served alongside in the RAF but not so famously. Lest We Forget ... Features the detailing which Corgi models are renowned for and may also be a remodelled release when compared with the same mark of Spitfire released before this by Corgi. Either way it will meet collectors' expectations and I encourage this to find it's way to at least the Wish List if not right the way into one's colledction if this is of interest. 10 out of 10 for another fine effort!Read full review

Model is pretty good. Would have liked to have had a pilot in the cockpit and the propeller being mobile though. Good for the price.
