Excellent camera, was bought very quickly as needed urgently. Had a kodak before, and had a good experience with that one, so decided to choose similarly. Camera has all the average standard features as a normal digital camera, but is much easier to use and understand, even if your new to photography. Battery life is rechargeable, so much more convienient than batteries...my battery lasts reasonably well, but due to age, it has got worse. Produces some excellent quality pictures, quickly and sufficiently. I used the camera heavily during my art/photography coursework, and hasnt failed me once. A reasonable price, and definitely a recommendation to buy?!
Great camera for the money. Bought for my 13 year old son and as is ususal for teenagers he had no problem understanding the technology! Reacts quickly to being turned on focuses well and has a big enough screen to review things okay. I have upgraded my DSLR and now the boy is starting to use my old one but when he goes out anywhere he takes this one as its compact enough to slip in his pocket.
Very good, simple to use camera - picture quality also seems to be of a high standard. Have not had any issues with the product yet.
I decided to buy this camera, as my last camera was a kodak and I loved how quick you could take pics with it! (with some digitals you have to hold the button down for ages before it actually takes the photo, and so often you miss the moment). Also, when buying camera's, sewing macines etc, I prefer to go for a make which specialises in that particular thing, ie kodak, Fuji, Canon etc, mainly only make cameras, Singer, Brother etc only make sewing machines. Therefore they tend to really know their stuff. I bought this camera new, but without box or manual. When it arrived I was very pleased with it's size. It's very slim and so good to take on a night out etc. It looks very sleek and minimalistc, no fussy knobs or buttons. It has a nice big screen. It is very quick to take pics. The picture qualiy is excellent. It has a re-chargeable battery, always a plus, as batteries are expensive. The battery life is good. If fully charged the camera will last through a full 5-6 days of photo taking ( I took it to loads of festivals and didn't have to re-charge it once). The only negative points I can think of are, the camera is quite difficult to change the settings , such as flash or replay, especially if it's night time, as you can't see the buttons. I found the flash difficult to change in the day also and still haven't quite got to grips with it, as it's not as straighforward or as simple as it is on a lot of other camera's I've used. This was made worse by the fact that I have not got the manual for it. It is probably something really simple that I need to do.... I think I need to download the instructions off the Internet. Other than that this is a great little camera and I would definitely buy it again.Read full review
Well I got this second hand and at a very reasonable price on Ebay, so my review might be slightly weighted in its favour. However, what a good little camera it is, 10mp, Optical and digi zoom. Face recognition, red eye elimination. Its pretty much got everything you would want. The picture quality is pretty good, I can store loads of pics with the memoy card, the internal memory is pants but the memory cards are a good cheap enchancement. So all in all a bargain used for £40. I wouldn't want to pay much more, so its worth hedging your bets, avoiding the cheap asian imports and gor for a good quality second hand camera.
