I was very impressed with the first trial at home.....amp upstairs and instruments downstairs; everything worked as advertised.....However on the third use on unplugging the receiver it split around the central joint and would not compress back together. I suspect the battery had expanded. I returned the receiver unit which was duly replaced. Subsequently played at a gig where the bass player was also using Xvive, despite using different channels he was getting interference, but our amps were adjacent each other and he reckoned that was the problem. We believe the output signal is probably a bit excessive. That said it is definitely a great piece of kit for solo work, and any interference issue may be overcome by positioning equipment. The units are neat and well designed and do away with the hassle of being attached to your amp/PA by an ungainly lead. The USB dual charging system is also brilliant. As an amateur guitar player in a 5 piece band, most of the gigs we play are in pubs with small areas for the band.
