1. there are glue drips where the head is glued onto the handle. easily avoided (see image but I have roughly cleaned it off, it would have been more successful when the glue was wet) 2. The protruding part of the handle was sanded unevenly giving the appearance that the hole for the handle isn't central. conclusion- it was made in a hurry. (see image) 3. tool marks still visible from lathe (see image) 4. the countersink bit was but or used too fast leaving splinters on the handle/strap hole not gret to sell a poorly finished wooden wood-working tool to wood workers.... they are the people who are likely to scrutinise more.
