I purchased these because some tea leave decided mine were good enough to steal. I agree with some of the other reviews. I have 20" alloys on my XF and they fitted loosely but using some electrical tape around the rim of the centre cap - I think I did 4 rotations - ensured a snug fit - they do the job. For the price they are great value and look good once in place.

They look good, but won't last. They are alloy as in 'drinks can' alloy; very soft and prone to scratching. They would not stand up to an auto carwash wheel scrub. I replaced some similar (not OEM) in red and they had little paint left, so I knew what to expect. At this cost you could buy a stock of them and replace regularly. I read some sprayed clear over them before fitting, which might give them more life. They are a very loose fit on my XF Lyra wheels so I wrapped electricians tape around the clips - two-turns - and now they don't move. They do look good. My wife has the OEM new growlers in red on her car. They're £24 each at the dealer, but eBay have them for £35 for the set. I reckon they would be worth it, if only they came in black.

The title is self-explanatory. The main problem is that although they are the same diameter as the Jaguar original, the four fixing lugs are slightly longer and so they will be a loose fit on certain Jaguar wheels. Most people have got round this by wrapping plastic tape round the lugs, but this is a botch to disguise the fact. All Jaguar plastic wheel centres - whether original or not - suffer damage from aggressive acid-based wheel cleaning products like Wonder Wheels. In conclusion these are great for smartening up your wheels before you sell the car, but as a long term proposition you would be better advised to replace them on a regular basis. They are cheap enough to allow this.

These aren't a perfect fit, being a few millimetres smaller than the original and therefore are loose and spin the hole. A simple remedy is to use electricians tape (about 25cm in length) on the inside of the hole for a tighter fit. Hopefully this won't affect how well it's held in place but only time will tell but right now they look good and require a small screwdriver to prise out.

Inserted one of these caps in to the allow hub & it was obviously a looser fit than the original. The cap could be easily rotated & pull in/out from it's position. The cap be removed without first removing the wheel. I did what other buyers have suggested. I cut 200mm long strips of 10mm wide insulation tape & wound them around the inner part of the cap so that they were effectively set off from the hub.
