    If the actors actually looked like footballers. Some we’re overweight and drank too much. Poor acting as well from the main characters

    Great to watch not for the young ones ; )

    A huge hit Footballers Wives was the show that inspired Desperate Housewives and is a trashy slice of TV that is as addictive as it is enjoyable. Following a fictional bunch of off-the-pitch exploits from some UK-based football players, the show offers a deliciously dramatic insight into what life could be like for the real-life stars of the game! Unwanted pregnancies, affairs with supermodels, dalliances with shapely local girls, and a manager in a coma...these are just a few of the ingredients that make the show compulsive viewing. All eight shows from the first season of footballers wives are included here.

    Footballers Wives DVD Series 1

    I decided to buy the DVD as I had never seen the first series of Footballers Wives. It was a little predictable but entertaining enough in the same style as the other series. The disc was a bit scratched but after cleaning a couple of times I did manage to watch the full 8 eposides without the discs sticking much.
