This replaced a much loved but worn out XP-750 model, but falls far short of the same standard of quality.Set up was reasonably easy with the supplied disk. The scanning set up is very poor as the scanner closes its own programme after each item scanned, and refuses to remain open, which is annoying and time wasting if you have several hundred items to scan. Also unlike previous Epson models the programme for scanning is very poor the image being created being barely an inch in size making it impossible to properly view the picture. Worst of all is the quality of printing.Using Epson photographic paper and their exceptionally expensive own make of ink greyscale pictures print in grey and green, and colour photographs in A4 size have streaks running across the picture, and colours are not true to the original picture. In my view, and I have used a lot of Epson printers, this is a model to definitely avoid.Read full review

works out to be ok once you get used to touch controls - some parts of it are really user friendly so I am happy with it and it works ok for my purposes.
