I bought my wife al DS Lite a few years ago (which is still going strong) I said at the time that that was the best thing I'd bought her because she was never off the blasted thing, so I decided to update her to an XL which was a good move. Slightly bigger, better sound and slightly better graphics and Internet and the battery life is as good if not better than the lite. Not sure about the web because I haven't tried it but the wife seems happy enough when she's on it. It came with a colour coded leather case which can be a bit restrictive when using the buttons on the back but that's the only downside I can see. All in all a great buy.
This is the second XL I have bought. The old one gave me many hours of enjoyment. I started with a dsi lite but the XL has bigger screens so is easier on the eye. Even my elderly husband can use it.

Purchased a Nintendo DS XL on ebay and have to say that i am really pleased with it. This has replaced an old DS which i found was straining my eyes to play because of the relatively small screen size, and i had virtually given up using it. Thrilled to bits with the XL as it is easy to see all the game details and not really that much bigger than the DS. Now i am able to enjoy hours of gaming and able to take it with me any place i go quite easily. Would thoroughly recommend the product to anyone thinking of buying it
