Nice bog standard kettle... nothing amazing about it really. At the moment leaves a horrible taste in your mouth... not nice to make a cup of tea for guests but I can put up with it. Just hope it goes soon... I have washed it out so many times and still not gone. Easy to use. I see no red in my kettle.. lots of blue but no red. I brought it as it said red in the name (my kitchen is red and white)...

Good value but my husband and kids have trouble getting it to boil. It clicks off after a second or two when water not boiled. It seems you have hold button down a little before letting go

Very nice looking kettle. Lights up blue on standby, red when boiling. White plastic with chrome trim. Lightweight. Takes a few boils to remove plastic taste. The power switch should be placed in a safer position. Water from the open lid can drip onto switch.

For its price this is a very nice kettle, nice touch with the illuminated see through front, blue when off and red when switched on. only drawback with it is the button for the lid to pop up is under the handle. Once you are use to it being there when you pick it up it is not a problem. spout water filter is easy to remove so no trouble there.
