After googling the leak I had on my boiler and losing bar pressure I bought this item. It is very simple to fit, juat a little awkward. If I can do it most people can. I only needed the front part so was very easy. Hardest part is draining your system and taking the old part off. 3 weeks later and my boiler is working great with no loss of bar pressure. Before that it was leaking the whole system withinh a few hours. Photo shows the old one in bad condition and new one, seemingly the replacement has better rubber seals, they certainly look it.

Bit of a pain, easier once unit removed from boiler then all fitted and back working, looks slightly better fittings than the original which had basically decomposed plastic bits / rusted clip which for the age of boiler I found weird.

My daughter has an Ideal Logic 35 boiler. The diverted valve leaking is a known weakness. Just over a year ago a plumber charged £65 for this part and £120 to fit it. I was sceptical as this was a lot cheaper than others I needn’t of worried this was better than the original. Fitted it myself and it works leak free. Very impressed and would recommend. If your not confident to fit it buy one and just pay for fitting. 👍👍👍

Fitted to my combi 30+, with the electric actuator. Both parts fitted exactly, cured the heating of the hot water and radiators at the same time. Very pleased.

I haven't fitted this yet but it certainly looks the part. It appears to be good quality, it was delivered quickly and is offered at a much more reasonable price than mainstream heating suppliers
