I'm pretty experienced with jigsaws so had to make sure I didn't monopolise the putting together of this one with my 12 year old! The instructions included with the puzzle are good, without giving too much away to make it too easy. My son was challenged, but not so challenged that it became frustrating - he couldn't get enough of it and couldn't wait to find a block of time to carry on with it. The finished product looks good and stays together when moved. But remember, it's foam-backed pieces of light card, essentially, so you can't sit on it and expect it to survive! Personally, I wouldn't pay £30 for a puzzle (I'm a 'buy it second-hand' type of person), but it was a birthday present from some relatives, so the cost was acceptable as it's what he really wanted, and he isn't disappointed :-). It's printed and cut very well indeed, with no need to 'bodge' anything to make it fit. It took us about 5 hours together, I reckon. We did lose 1 piece during the making, still hoping it'll turn up when he tidies his room!!Read full review

QUITE A DIFFICULT PUZZLE - NOT FOR THE BEGINNER. THE PUZZLE COMES WITH INSTRUCTIONS IN BLACK AND WHITE BUT YOU CAN DOWNLOAD A COLOUR COPY ON THE INTERNET WHICH MADE IT MUCH EASIER TO DO. I DO THINK COLOLURED INSTRUCTIONS SHOULD BE INCLUDED WITH THE PUZZLE. HOWEVER, WHEN IT IS COMPLETED IT'S QUITE A WORK OF ART AND YOU GET A REAL SENSE OF ACHEIVEMENT. TOO NICE TO PUT BACK IN BOX SO HAVE PUT ON DISPLAY.
