My ipod Classic 80gb died one day. Dreaded disk clicking. This Toshiba disk is the correct replacement and works perfectly. Hardest part was removing ipod case, really mangled it, now back together with sellotape. Also the ipod ribbon cables are delicate and contacts not good, I sprayed the board with a contact cleaner to overcome a subsequent intermittent fault. Disk itself is perfect, for £30 I avoided £130 for a new ipod. BTW if you want your music all together and quick to find, no wifi messing, ipod classic is still the way to go. If needed I would buy the same disk again. NB!!!Just do more research on ipod disassembly and get a tool for it.
