I have owned a range of Canon cameras over the years ...eventually moving to to the 1d range in 2004 ...They are designed to a level of durability and performance that even an amateur like me can appreciate. The only drawback of these have been the sensor dust and that was solved with this model upwards. There are many consumer up to date cameras on the market that have better specs as standard ...but the professional specs of this camera mean that overall it is above them by mile.
