This was a replacement glass for my cafetiere. Good quality but very slightly bigger in girth than the original, which was over 20 years old. I had to use some fibre washers in the screw to open up the frame as it would not fit otherwise. I did not want to try and force it in.

100% better than the original manufacturer supplied. The glass is far better quality and thicker. It keeps the coffee warmer while brewing. It's also not as fragile do there is no worry of breaking it when cleaning it.

This replacement glass is stronger and heavier than previous ones. You may need to loosen the screw a bit on the holder, but it's well worth it to get a strong replacement glass, that doesn't break in the dishwasher.

Strangely, although clearly the right size this is a little smaller than the orginal and so it slides up and down inside the plastic casing - bit worrying as it may easily break when it's being washed? Good price though, speedy delivery and no flaws in the glass

compared to my two other 3-cuppers, this is a little small in diameter, making it a very loose fit, and liable to slide out of the holders when tipped. On the positive side, it is thicker than the ones I have, and should be stronger.
