Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Lamp Shades
The lantern is handmade using rice paper. It is very delicate and lightweight, so be careful when handling it. Easy to fix onto the lamp. It diffuses light beautifully without darkening the room too much. We have a Japanese theme decor so it matches nicely. The only thing that took one star off was the lamp arrived a bit torn on top of the lantern and bits of glue sticking to some fluff that was hard to take them off because of the thin rice paper. Also, the lantern had tiny black marks around. However, the marks are not noticeable when it is in use.

Too expensive, quality not great... Thin paper, bendy metal frame so you have to bend the hook (that catches the light cord) to make the shade hang straight. Some areas of the paper have a light sheen that shows up when light is on (glue?). Would be acceptable at about £3 - used to find these at HomeBase and other places at around that price (and better quality). Now have to buy them online, lesser quality and twice the price. That's progress, innit...

They do not hang straight when installed as delivered and there is no guidance to say how this can be achieved. (This is probably why the words 'Party Decoration' were added to the product name.) You need to order these well before they are to be seen and be prepared to spend some time very carefully fiddling with them otherwise they look tacky. If you get them to straighten up they do look smart.

Just what I needed before my house move, simple lampshades to leave in place of my favourite chandeliers I want to take with me. They are easy to fit and give a gentle all round light. Might buy some spares to take with me.
