This is a black five hole pick-guard for a Tele. It fit my Tele with just a little sanding on a couple places. The finish is very shiny so I use 800 grit sandpaper to rough it up a bit. It took the sheen off the guard and looks better on my 1958 Tele......the rest of the guitar is pretty beat up so I didn't want this to look so stark....new....you know. If you are on the fence about this, I'd say go ahead and get one. You can never have too many pick-guards. I'm hoping to get maybe 25 years out of this one. I highly recommend this guard. You only live once so don't be afraid to pull the trigger on this part......

Repro of the old school Nocaster 5 hole black guard. No neck pickup adjustment screws gives it a clean and more flush look in my humble opinion. Even more so with black pickguard screws and a white body like I chose to do. A touch of old school for your build if you are like me and going for a clean modern look with hints of vintage simplicity. If you are building a replica with exact specs as the original, unlike my build (pictured) these 5 hole guards are a necessity as well as period correct. These pickguards never needed more than 5 screws, just make sure it is flush with the body when mounting the corners and it will never rise.

Good price point. Good quality. BUT....the pickup hole doesn't have mounting holes drilled. Not a big deal to drill a couple 1/8" holes but they should already be there.
