Well made with nice quality parts and serviceable when required. This tool cuts roofing slates very easily, it is controllable so you can follow a scribe line very accurately. The integrated hole punch is a very worthwhile feature, the cutters are available without this but it is so useful it seems false economy to get the version without it. A relatively high price but in the long run still good value due to the quality. Only one criticism. It is possible to nip your hand between the handles when cutting and the tool snaps closed, especially if the slates are a little tougher. It can be avoided by holding it slightly differently, but it would be nice if the handles had a slightly bigger gap when closed or one half was slightly wider than the other to keep your flesh away from the nip point..Read full review
